On July 19, Guangzhou Hybribio Medical Laboratory successfully passed the on-site review of the ISO15189 experts panel from China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). This is a milestone marking Hybribio's continuous effort for a better quality management system has been well-recognized.

ISO15189 on-site review meeting

The accreditations Hybribio applied for include diverse fields such as Molecular, Biochemistry, and Immunology. From July 17 to 19, CNAS had four experts to conduct on-site review by ISO15189 medical laboratory accreditation for Guangzhou Hybribio Medical Laboratory. After a 3-day inspection and review, experts from CNAS assessed that the quality management system of Guangzhou Hybribio Medical Laboratory has met the requirements of ISO15189, Accreditation Criteria for the Quality and Competence of Medical Laboratories.

 When confronted with the previous COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, Guangzhou Hybribio Medical Laboratory has stuck on the frontline, never flinching from fighting the pandemic. Guangzhou Hybribio Medical Laboratory has been an important role of the domestic pandemic prevention and control for 6 months, since it was officially appointed as one of the competent COVID-19 testing agency. Through its quick reaction, optimization of the test method and test procedures, Guangzhou Hybribio Medical Laboratory has achieved the “Four-Early”: early-confirmation, early-report, early-quarantine and early-diagnosis, helping Guangdong provincial government in work resumption and guarding against imported cases, and shielding its people.

Hybribio will not stop here. Instead, we will take it as an opportunity to further improve, standardize, and internationalize our quality management system, providing clinical services to patients with better quality and excellence.
